The story
A hand-cut zellige backsplash that runs floor-to-ceiling behind the range. The irregular glaze on Moroccan zellige reads completely differently in morning vs evening light, which is exactly what the homeowners wanted. We laid out a dry-run on the floor first to color-grade the variation before mortar ever touched the wall.
